The fix for this bug has indeed only been committed to the HEAD (PHP 6.0) and PHP_5_2 (PHP 5.2) branches of PHP CVS. However, since PHP 5.2.0 will be released soon I do not think that we should backport this to PHP 5.1.
(In reply to comment #1) > However, since PHP 5.2.0 will be released soon I do not think that we should > backport this to PHP 5.1. Indeed, furthermore PDO and its drivers saw a lot of changes since the PHP5_1 branch, so I'd prefer to not actually backport stuff there, as it isn't 100% guaranteed to not have any side-effects (same for ZendEngine2 patches, that changed so much almost none of the new patches is "safe" to backport). We'll soon add a PHP 5.2.0 RC3 ebuild to the PHP Overlay, and, as soon as it's out, PHP 5.2.0 final to Portage, which will fix a _lot_ of bugs. ;) Best regards, CHTEKK.
