If you format a ReiserFS parition under the 1.4_rc1 or 1.4_rc2 cd, the grub in
the chroot yeilds a unknow parition type when you do the 'root (hd0)' command.
If you format a reiserfs parition with the 1.2 cd everything seems to works fine.

A current work around is to 'emerge -u grub' inside the chroot and the newer
version works fine.

is this still a problem with rc4?

Nope, seems to be fixed in rc4.

Authors says seemed to be fixed with rc4.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
