Can't stabilize it until bug #160405 is fixed.
media-gfx/gthumb-2.6.5 (currently in stable) also have this problem that only is fixed in 2.8.x series :-/
I know. 30 days, and the 2.8.x series can go stable. A patched version couldn't go stable before then anyway.
