I'm noticing that none of the app-dict/aspell-* ebuilds has DESCRIPTION variable defined, witch makes it a bit unconfortable to make searches like the following: $ emerge search esperanto Searching... [ Results for search key : esperanto ] [ Applications found : 0 ] I still haven't had my way arround the inherit thing, so I don't know if there is a way to put a description on top of that ebuilds, or if it is necesary to add this variable to each and every one of them, but I would be extremly nice to hace and description for them.
actually, they do have a description -- it's just inherited from the aspell.eclass
Nick, the description is a generic one in the eclass, with a variable defined in the ebuilds for the actual language of the dicts, so portage should be able to cache such things...
