this thing looks promising. compilation method seems pretty straghtforward, only this -a at the end of the current version gives me the trouble with an ebuild :] this thing looks very useful, considering that more and more people will probably get involved with qt4 anytime soon. homepage http://qide.free.fr

It compiles, but there's this annyoing segfault when opening a file without project. The bug has been reported by someone else already and it should be solved in the next version. As soon as this next version gets out, I'll submit this ebuild to the Gentoo Sunrise overlay. If you're interested: Try out monkeystudio (an ebuild is in Gentoo Sunrise as well), which is another IDE for QT4.
note: this project has been renamed to qdevelop.
caleb: thanks. Changed summary and URL accordingly.
Created attachment 98942 [details] qdevelop-0.20.ebuild And here's a new ebuild for it.
*** Bug 154518 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
hmm didn't know someone already made a ebuild of this, so instead of adding mine I will just help with what we already have if it works already. Cheers
QDevelop builds, starts and comes along with an error notice if qt is build without 'sqlite' USE flag. Without that data base it is not usable. I'm not experienced with ebuilds so all I can do is report it.
Thanks for the report. Corrected it. The ebuild is now in Gentoo Sunrise too, available here: http://gentoo-sunrise.org/svn/sunrise/dev-util/qdevelop or install the overlay via layman.
