Re-emerge libkipi and libkexif and try again.

Now it works. Interesting. It failed during emerge -e world, but after it finished and I re-emerged packages you mentioned the problem disappeared.

I also had this error during emerge -e world, but I just immediately did an emerge --resume and it worked.  Weird.
