while running $ emerge foo-app (with portage 1.8.9.4) user-logins die with: -bash: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/portage/lib/libsandbox.so: cannot open shared object file: Permission denied After regenerating ld.so.cache everything's fine again. I hope this IS a bug, and not a feature for a MULTI(CS) user system :-)
Verified while logging on on a console, changing user with su and logging in through ssh. This with portage 1.8.12 and a fully up-to-date 1.0 system.
