I get this error when I try to update my gcc, I think it's caused by my cflags ...

here is the emerge --info :

Good guess. So what was the point of filling the bug, reassuring us that ricer cflags result in brokedness? Thanks, we already know :)

> I get this error when I try to update my gcc, I think it's caused by my cflags

So why don't you set your flags to something sane and try again? :P OTOH, gcc strips all your ricer flags anyway.
Comment 3 yann LE HIR 2006-08-31 06:21:29 UTC
I think it could be nice if the CFLAGS were filtered out
Comment 4 Peter Read 2006-08-31 11:22:00 UTC
WTF are you thinking with those CFLAGS? Dammit they're not magical talismans.
Comment 5 yann LE HIR 2006-08-31 11:39:54 UTC
That's the first problem I ever had with my cflags, even openoffice compilled fine...
I removed some of them and it compilled.

CFLAGS="-O3 -march=athlon-xp -mfpmath=sse -mmmx -m3dnow -msse -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -ffast-math"
