Description Jan Hendrik Grahl (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-28 16:34:09 UTC
Hi Infra,
would it be possible to recompile nano on woodpecker (dev.gentoo.org) with the USE flag unicode enabled?
Thanks for taking the time to consider this request.

be a good idea to have USE=unicode in /etc/make.conf
Comment 2 Kurt Lieber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-17 08:10:59 UTC
having never done much with unicode, are there any ramifications of simply adding it to the global USE variable? Do we break web pages, cause problems with email or generally upset the natural order of things?

I'll take care of this during this weeks updates.
