The description for ucarp is way too long and contains \n which makes it unfriendly to sed scripts.

I suggest:
"Portable userland implementation of Common Address Redundancy Protocol (CARP)"


From the handbook under "DESCRIPTION and HOMEPAGE wrong"
(http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=2&chap=3#doc_chap1_sect11)

"And make sure the DESCRIPTION is not overly long. Good descriptions will describe the main function of the package in a sentence."
