Description MasterC 2006-08-27 23:03:25 UTC
More of a request for when 0.20 is released:
Can we enable the xvmc-pro option via a use flag? I currently edit each ebuild and add a use variable of xvmcpro, and then in the myconf section, add the --enable-xvmc-pro option. I then add 'media-tv/mythtv xvmcpro' to my /etc/portage/package.use file. Quite trivial, but would be nice to not have to edit each ebuild after each --sync. Also, on a related note, I believe one of the options for .20 is the --xvmclib= option, is there any way to toss that in as well, I can't think of one off the top of my head...

Thank you!

Always put ebuild name into bug summary when filing ebuild bugs.

@masterc, you could set up a local overlay instead.

However, it is going to be turned on by default in the 0.20 ebuilds if you have the "xvmc" USE flag set and you are using a VIA chipset video card. :)

Done for 0.20. Won't happen for 0.19.
