Description Norberto Bensa 2003-01-23 17:47:24 UTC
Mailman 2.1 fails to deliver messages.

From Mailman 2.1 UPGRADING.gz doc.

    In Mailman 2.1, the qrunner subsystem has been completely
    rewritten. You no longer start qrunner from cron! Instead, there
    is a bin/mailmanctl script which is used to start, stop, and
    restart mail delivery. This script is appropriate to use as a
    Unix init script. Be sure to update your crontab with the new
    cron/crontab.in file.

So, mailmanctl should be in /etc/init.d (?)

Thanks in advance,
Norberto

/etc/init.d/mailman --> rc-script

I've just created this rc-script for mailman on my mailing-list server.
I verified that it doesn't create processes with a "su" parent and it is ok...
so I think my script is ok ! Let's take a look at it and test it on different
configurations now ;c)

I have updated the mailman-2.1 build accordingly. Thanks for the suggestion!
