/proc/interrupts is irrelevent. You really need to post the full panic message, although fcpci being closed-source, the maintainers probably can't do much about it...
the closed-source driver only supports *ONE* card. Though there are patches somewhere on the net to support up to 4 cards. But the kernel driver code has to be patched for every further card. So you end up with something like fcpci01.ko, fcpci02.ko, etc. @genstef: you might want to find the patches and include them somehow in the ebuild?

Well if you can reproduce this w/ uptodate net-dialup/fritzcapi ebuild then reopen this bug.
