The URL's were something like http://localhost/ + a long long word without any spacing.

Anyway, anomalies with long strings, mostly long words also occur in the "view source" window and input fields. When scrolling such scrambled text, some it may become partly or wholly visible sometimes - sometimes it prints out n and a left fraction of the next character.
