Description Christian Banik 2006-08-17 08:09:22 UTC
Here's an ebuild for the rewritten omnibook kernel module for HP Omnibook and other laptops.

It is a new sf project hosted at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/omnibook which is based on the old project http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/omke. Therefore I propose to move the old project to app-laptop/omke.

Greetings,
buschaot

I managed to get render my notebook unbootable recently and have a new one now. Since I have no hopes of getting that back I dropped maintainership of this package.

Luckily I love bumping ebuilds for drivers which I cannot test and are also part of the obile team that maintains it now. So you can still come to me with bump requests.

regarding the move to omke: I do not think it is worth it, because no one probably wants the old version
regarding the naming issue: please file a bug with x86 and mobile telling them to remove the old versions.

Thanks for reporting this bug!
