Description kfm 2003-01-23 05:27:15 UTC
In reference to #12976 I filed this because I believe that the mandatory
dependencies introduced on sys-apps/hotplug (and sys-apps/usbutils) as a result
shouldn't be mandatory and should perhaps be subject to a USE flag. For example,
my server (like most servers) doesn't feature a USB port, so I have no wish to
have either builds installed as a result of upgrading CUPS at any point.

I know I can just modify the ebuild myself, or unmerge the packages afterwards -
but this just doesn't feel clean :-)

Perhaps something like a "usb" flag would be a useful addition?
