net-p2p/azureus-bin has been deprecated in favour of building from source, but the source package is currently missing several features of the binary: * Console UI * Joltid Peer Cache plugin These are not in the source zip which the source ebuild uses, they are only available directly from Azureus cvs (uis/ and plugins/jpc/ respectively). The Azureus developers include these extra sources when building their release binary jars. I personally feel that until at least the console UI is supported by the source ebuild, azureus-bin should remain unmasked, since a number of people use this feature (judging from bug reports when it's been broken in the past). I realise this is a failing by the Azureus developers (in that their source tarball for a release does not match the actual sources used to compile that release) but it would be useful to include regardless...
Ask upstream to make a new release that included them; not a Gentoo problem. Sorry.
