The mpg123 man page lists the option: -C, --control Enable control keys. By default use 's' to stop, 'p' to pause, 'f' to jump forward to the next song, 'b' to jump back to the beginning of the song, ',' to rewind, '.' to fast forward, and 'q' to quit. Attempting to start mpg123 with -C or --control fails, however: $ mpg123 -C file.mp3 mpg123: Unknown option "C". $ mpg123 --control file.mp3 mpg123: Unknown option "control". $ mpg123 --version Version 0.59s-r11 (2000/Oct/27) As expected, the "control keys" listed in the man page have no effect (they shouldn't, since I can't enable the option). I Googled for info, and found multiple references to people using this feature. I found no USE flags to enable it.
