Description fjmccloud 2006-08-15 09:40:56 UTC
baselayout-1.12.4-* fails to load kernel modules (e.g. SATA) before it tries to start sw RAID. Downgrading to 1.11.15-r3 fixes the problem.

URL above also reports this.

Comment 2 fjmccloud 2006-08-19 15:42:07 UTC
Yes! This patch works for me. The kernel modules are loaded before RAID is started. Thanks!
Comment 3 Roy Marples (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-21 04:14:39 UTC
