When booting live cd 1.4 rc2 (gentoo-grp-pentium3-1.4_rc2.iso) i get this:

Unpacking 
kernel...done
Booting kernel.... =>
system freezes, cursor blinks but nothing 
happens.

My system:
Abit BE7 (i845PE)
p4 2.53
nvidia geforce 4 4200
ibm 60gxp 
40g
hp9100i
integrated lan (rtl8100) and audio ALC650
realtek 8029(AS) 

1.4 rc1 live 
cd works just fine.

Yep, i have tried 1.4 rc1 and rc3 and both work just fine. Just wondering why rc2 won

-rc2 had some cpu optimizations enabled that caused this on some boxes.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
