with FEATURES=confcache removed it will compile.

attached is the complete compile output with confcache enabled.

confcache is package.masked for a reason. Feel free to reopen if you have a patch.

Ok confcache has not always been masked.

In fact I have it installed and it's masked as well. I was not aware of this.
