As far as I can see, this is the first ebuild for this C++ bindings library.
Created attachment 94152 [details] ebuild for dev-cpp/libxml++ This first ebuild contains handling of doc (installation) and examples (compilation only) USE flags, but else is pretty bare bones.
couldn't assign so cc to maintainer-needed
Uhm... * dev-cpp/libxmlpp Latest version available: 2.12.0 Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ] Size of downloaded files: 1,962 kB Homepage: http://libxmlplusplus.sourceforge.net/ Description: C++ wrapper for the libxml2 XML parser library License: LGPL-2.1
must have been blind... I guess the examples handling isn't worth the hassle of a patch (but I'm looking into applying it to gtkmm as there it consumes much compile time).
Hmm, maybe someone might want to do it on version bump, lets see. ;)
We currently just don't build or install any of the examples. They're useless from a packaging point of view as they don't provide anything. Nothing prevents you from fetching the tarball and grabbing the source code. Thanks
