I talked to dmwaters and decided to retire her. Deedra, thanks for all the work you've done for Gentoo and all the times you've helped me with good advice.
Infra, please retire.
No forums account to retire if i'm not mistaken.
Gonna miss ya, All done from infra.
All done.
Deedra wishes to return to active status to work on accessibility issues for amd64 and for sparc. She is currently working with dsd on kernel/speakup issues, and wants to help with amd64 and with sparc (kernel problems). She was our only blind developer and so was (and is) in the best position to test and help fix the associated products. She would also like to return to devrel. Deedra acknowledges that she has been gone long enough that she will retake quizes, etc. I am acting as her mentor for purposes of this status change and perhaps up to when a recruiter takes control.
Bug happily taken. Especially as it was Deedra who recruited me :-)
Sent ebuild quiz to both ferris and recruiters.
Kuglfang, You should have received the ebuild quiz on about 3-26 and an email from me on about 3-29 (I believe) to the effect that her quiz looked good to me (well, her answers contain pretty much the same information as mine did 3 years ago :)). It's possible you never got my e-mail, because I sent it about the same time claws-mail quit actually sending/receiving for me; it went through all the motions, but didn't actually move mail around. If that's the case, please consider this note to be that (virtual) e-mail. Otherwise, questions or comments to Deedra and me. Thanks, Ferris
Deedra passed the ebuild quiz. I'm waiting for the EoM one now.
EoM sent to kugelfang and to recruiters. Comments are on email.
Just for bookkeeping, note revised end quiz mailed on 18th May. Deedra is pretty much unavailable until sometime the afternoon of the 23rd (working with dog trainer). As always, questions, etc. to me.
I'm back....a day or 2 early, and still alive!:)
As the lead of the accessibility project, and a blind developer who was recruited by Deedra, I am looking forward to having her back with us in accessibility. :-)
I talked with Deedra about her endquiz this noon, and she made the corrections I voiced. Now I'm able to approve the quiz. I'm gonna get to changing your status and stuff once I' finished w/ angelos.

Recruiters, I would like to return to gentoo to help again with accessibility and amd64 type stuff if this is possible, I also have a couple of packages i'd like to assist in maintaining, my current target is games-mud/tf. I understand that i've been gone for a couple of years, and i would need to retake the quizzes. I've already started on the quizzes and can send them in once they are done. My nick on irc now is deedra, i can also be reached at waters.deedra@googlemail.com. Thanks! Deedra
As the lead of the accessibility project, I approve Deedra returning to assist us on amd64.
Ebuild quiz and ssh key sent to recruiters. FYI, to add to why i'd like to return, I'd talked briefly about assisting infra with some mail things, and this is another reason for returning, robbat2 wnats me to finish the new dev process which i planned on doing anyway.:)
Recruiters, I have surgery coming up in the next several weeks that wasn't really expected. I'm going to close my bug for now, however i still do want to return as a dev, right now though I can't do much till after surgery, and after i get married so to speak. so, probably can't finish end quiz till some time in july. I'd rather close this bug for now rather then trying to balance several things. I'll still continue to work as an arch tester as i have done, and if robbat2 still wants my help in infra, I'm more then willing to do that.
Thanks for letting us know and it's indeed better to keep this closed until you get back/better.
