Description Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-11 16:50:16 UTC
ati-drivers-8.25.18 are working for me on x86 and amd64, same for above versions
additionally 8.25.18 is needed for xorg 7.0, prior versions do not have xorg 7.0 support and xorg 7.0 seems to always fail when compiled with ati-drivers <8.25.18.

I think you mean xorg-7.1, i have been running these great once all the ebuild stuff was worked out :)

strike that, wrong ati-drivers version... I may have been up to late :)

Xorg 7.1 with 8.27.10 works fine for me too, but as long as Xorg 7.1 is unstable there's no need to stabilize that version - the problem with the current version is that no one who doesn't know that 8.25.18 the first version with xorg7 support is fails to compile Xorg 7.0
