"An open-source clone of the DOS game Liero. It currently works on Windows and Linux. In the game each player controls a small worm armed to the teeth and fights other worms in a destructible battleground. It can be described as "Real-time Worms" or "2D Quake", or a combination of both." Sourcecode is availible via CVS. This game is addictive like Liero! <:
Created attachment 101762 [details] gusanos-9999.ebuild I suggest category "games-action".
Created attachment 101764 [details] gusanos-9999.ebuild Moved re2c from RDEPEND.
Created attachment 101783 [details] gusanos-9999.ebuild Added USE flag check on boost.
Works fine for me.
Asked upstream for source tarballs? Use SConsignFile() to fix the sandbox errors.
It doesn't compile because of scons. It works only with scons <= 0.96.1
Created attachment 110555 [details] gusanos-9999.ebuild Uses SConsignFile to fix sandbox violation.
Created attachment 118378 [details] gusanos-9999.ebuild Changed RDEPEND=">=net-libs/zoidcom-0.6.5" to RDEPEND="=net-libs/zoidcom-0.6.5" gusanos ain't working with new zoidcom (0.6.7)
Still no-one asked upstream for source tarballs?
Matija: Upstream didn't make any changes quite a long time. I suggest closing this bug (as "LATER"?). Btw, there's a fork of this project - G3A? (Gusanos 3 Arena - a Quake3 Arena style game)
You're right, Gusanos doesn't seem to have been updated since 2007. :/ I agree with closing it as "LATER" for now.
And about that mentioned G3A: http://pordesign.eu/g3a/
