Although the required binary file is placed in /usr/portage/distfiles/, the ebuild just complains that the required binary file needs to be placed in /usr/portage/distfiles/. To me, this looks like a bug. ttleush kjetil # ls -la /usr/portage/distfiles/jrockit-R26.4.0-jre1.5.0_06-linux-ia32.bin -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 31932709 Jul 5 20:51 /usr/portage/distfiles/jrockit-R26.4.0-jre1.5.0_06-linux-ia32.bin ttleush kjetil # emerge -va jrockit-jdk-bin These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! This probably means that this ebuild's files must be downloaded !!! manually. See the comments in the ebuild for more information. * Please download jrockit-R26.4.0-jdk1.5.0_06-linux-ia32.bin from: * http://commerce.bea.com/products/weblogicjrockit/jrockit_prod_fam.jsp * and move it to /usr/portage/distfiles
This has nothing in common w/ Gentoo bugzilla product, please read the descriptions.
