Version 2.5.2398-beta-14 of the mpm package has been released upstream. Please create a new ebuild for this version. Nothing user-visible appears to have changed, so this should be finished by making a small modification of the current ebuild. This update is necessary/urgent, as the old one has a problem finding the remote package repositories. (I've got a new install, and can't get to my LaTeX packages in a nice way ATM!) Have a look at <http://sourceforge.net/project/shownotes.php?release_id=434432&group_id=10783> for more info, and a link to the source. Please, also mark this package ~amd64, as should work perfectly on amd64 systems (as reported in the comments of bug 110494).
Bumped in portage, thanks for the report. About keywording ~amd64, considering that the package is hard masked for the moment, it's not really a priority...
