While building modular X on one of my older boxes, it tried to pull in openmotif-2.2.3-r9. autoconf fails with the following message: FATAL ERROR: Autoconf version 2.52 or higher is required for this script I have autoconf 2.13 and 2.59-r6 installed; the latter should be sufficient for this ebuild. I'm building openmotif-2.2.3-r8 right now as a workaround (it just finished and now the rest of the ebuilds are running), but this error is bizarre.

A few days later, in the middle of an "emerge system && emerge world" process, openmotif-2.2.3-r9 built without error on the same system. It's weird, but as long as it now works...
Might as well close this...
