The following link should (when reassembled) submit a query that yields a report showing the bugs filed "today". Users could be directed to this query as a first step to diagnosing problems with their Gentoo Linux installation. This query was borrowed from bugzilla.mozilla.org's front page and modified to work with bugs.gentoo.org, by changing the product parameter to 'Gentoo+Linux'. Other interesting product params could be added, or multiple links could be provided, one for each product type. [Note: hard returns inserted in order to prevent creating a wide page] http://bugs.gentoo.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW &bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=RESOLVED&email1= &emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring &emailreporter2=1&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&changedin=1&votes= &chfield=%5BBug+creation%5D&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue= &product=Gentoo+Linux&short_desc=&short_desc_type=substring&long_desc= &long_desc_type=substring&bug_file_loc=&bug_file_loc_type=substring &status_whiteboard=&status_whiteboard_type=substring&keywords= &keywords_type=anywords&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop &value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time
Thanks! This has already been implememted in the new gentoo linux bugzilla, which is set to roll out in 2 weeks or so. Cheers, //zhen
