Description Jeremy Warren 2003-01-21 10:15:50 UTC
If you try to compile ck-sources with the aironet wireless drivers, it will fail
the compile with an error stating that "PDE was already declared". This error
seems to stem back to the ALSA kernel patch - I was able to replicate this
problem with the lolo-sources, by applying the ALSA kernel patch (as well as the
Desktop Tuning and Variable Hertz patches) from Con Kolivas's web site and then
trying to compile the kernel - it failed. Reversing the ALSA patch resulted in
a kernel that compiles just fine.

kernel bug, not gentoo bug.
