Here is a new ebuild for alsa-patch-bay-0.4.1 This ebuild can compile with either gtkmm (the default), or fltk (use="fltk" emerge ...) And I was able to compile it successfully with either. From the authors Changelog: 0.4.1: * fixed plugin stuff to work with 2.95.x C++ symbols * fixed fltk compile * added an alsa-patch-bay.desktop 0.4: * made a nice dlopen() system for GUIs and drivers * ladcca support * major amounts of code cleaning up and seperating (eg apb.h -> 6 .h's :) * bug fixes * compilation fixes * listens to alsa changes in a thread * gtk gui now uses a proper toolbar with stock buttons
Created attachment 7507 [details] alsa-patch-bay-0.4.1.ebuild so here it is. i know there's a freeze until gentoo 1.4 is complete, but for future reference...
I committed the ebuild to CVS. However, I had to set -x86 flag on it for now, for it does not compile for me (I use gcc-2.95) with either toolkit. Could you test the ebuild in the portage tree and let me know whether it compiles on your systems? Also note that there is no such valid USE variable "fltk" (see /usr/portage/profile/use.desc). We can leave that in for now, but let the users know that it is not official. p.s. In the future, a diff against an existing ebuild is preferred over attaching an entire new ebuild. Thanks.
Closing this, for 0.5.2 is already in the portage, and I haven't received any response anyways.
