The latest version of gazpacho is 0.6.6. It now depends on the kiwi package (which can be found in bug 137441). Changes that the ebuild requires: 1. Rework the two patches so that they cleanly apply, if they're still necessary. 2. Add a dependency on kiwi.
Created attachment 93743 [details] Gazpacho 0.6.6 ebuild Here's my attempt for an ebuild for Gazpacho 0.6.6. I'll post my patch for setup fixes too. Worked for me at least.

Gazpacho 0.6.6 doesn't work with python-2.5, so I'm expecting to turn this into a bump request for 0.6.7 soon... The exception stack trace from 0.6.6 on python 2.5 is: File /usr/bin/gazpacho, line 70, in <module> sys.exit(main.main((sys.argv))) File /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gazpacho/main.py, line 247, in main launch(options, filenames) File /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gazpacho/main.py, line 186, in launch gazpacho.new_project() File /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gazpacho/app/app.py, line 641, in new_project self._add_project(project) File /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gazpacho/app/app.py, line 383, in _add_project self._update_open_projects() File /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gazpacho/app/app.py, line 408, in _update_open_projects project.name, '', id(project)) TypeError: could not convert parameter 'value' of type 'gint'
I've filed an upstream bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357486
Gazpacho 0.6.6 depends on kiwi (see bug 137441). 5:)
i noticed 0.7.0 is out why don't you take the package from pythonhead that seems to be mia and bump it ?
If you think he won't mind, I've already got a 0.7.0 ebuild ready. I'm guessing I should replace his name with mine in the metadata.xml?
Ok, I've bumped the package and I've changed the metadata.xml. Pythonhead, if you'd like the package back, or if I've done something wrong, please let me know and I'll be happy to get it all sorted so that you're happy... 5:)
