Description Christian Korff 2006-08-02 04:50:04 UTC
I've got some trouble with seamonkey and firefox. In fact I
tried to use seamonkey as an alternative to firefox. Seamonkey crashs
afte 1-2 minutes. Firefox has also some problems but as firefox worked
some times and I don't know why. To clearify that this is a bug I also
moved the .mozilla directory in my home directory to .mozilla_org
So it should work.

Seamonkey crashs when I try to call it with the debug (-g) option.
Firefox is the same but with different memory addresses.

For Firefox I have to mention that I upgraded from 1.5.0.4 to 1.5.0.5 as
.5 got stable on amd64. Seamonkey is installed in version 1.0.2. As
Firefox worked I had some extensions and serveral additional languages
installed and some opimization (all in user-config). For
now everything is clear but I mention the difference just for completness.

Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-25 08:09:36 UTC
Still a problem in 1.0.5?
Comment 2 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2006-12-07 14:14:15 UTC
I cannot reproduce this bug with seamonkey-1.0.6
Comment 3 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2006-12-14 04:00:06 UTC
I think that this bug could be closed, seems that seamonkey-1.0.6 doesn't have this problem :-/
Comment 4 Christian Marie (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-25 05:08:10 UTC
Thanks, closed.
