The myspell-nb dictionary in Portage is quite old; the newest version also includes a hypenator and a small thesaurus, while the Portage version only has a spellchecker. I read from a similar bug report for the German version that this is the correct place to report new versions.

ok; new revisions committed both to myspell-nn and myspell-nb. These include hyphenation and thesaurus dictionaries. Try in combination with the new version of eselect-oodict (20060806). myspell-nb has two thesaurus dictioanries and the eselect-oodict-20060806 will install both. Let me know if you think the two thesaurus dictionaries should be handled differently.
