When kcontrol is really small (maximised on a 640x480 screen), it becomes impossible to (un)select "Apply colours to non-KDE applications" with the mouse, and needlessly complicated with the keyboard. http://dev.gentoo.org/~truedfx/bad.png Resizing the window until it is bigger than the screen reveals the checkbox. http://dev.gentoo.org/~truedfx/good.png As you may notice, kcontrol displays scroll bars, and is meant to be prepared to handle small window sizes. A quick check shows no problems with other windows (still in kcontrol). This may very well be an upstream problem, and if so I'll report it there, but I'm reporting it here first just in case; I don't have a non-Gentoo KDE installation to test with. :) $ emerge -pv kdelibs kcontrol These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! Yes, I can reproduce this. Unfortunately the KDE herd is too understaffed to forward every minor bug. Please file a bug at https://bugs.kde.org/.
Will do; as stated, I just wasn't sure if this might be Gentoo-specific.
