Hi,

I just tried a clean install starting from stage1, but 'emerge -e system' failed.

something in stable linux-headers (version 2.6.11-r4) seems to have changed within the last days/weeks. gpm compiled fine some time ago. I can reproduce this on an installation were I reemerged linux-headers.

looking at the changelog I can only see a change touching other files (not the one giving the error here).

marking as blocker, as everyone with a fresh sync will run into this problem while installing.

output follows.

regards, corsair

This was caused by a change in the headers___fix function in kernel-2.eclass, now fixed in CVS -- sorry for the delay but I sometimes don't receive bugmail for bugs that get assigned straight to me for some reason: in the future you might be better off prodding me on IRC and I'll fix things a lot faster - I just noticed this bug today :)
