Description David Lang 2006-07-30 12:19:51 UTC
mail-filter/popfile is marked x86 only, even though it's written entirely in perl and should work on any platform. it's only dependancy that is platform limited is sqlite2, which is tagged for multiple platforms (sparc, and per a recent bug amd64 at least)

please remove the platform restriction for popfile

Something being a scripting language does NOT mean it's going to run on any platform. Seriously.

So, only file keywording bugs for platforms you actually care about and have tested the thing to work on.

I'm currently testing popfile (0.22.4) on amd64. I haven't tested very extensively yet, but so far, no problems. Is proper procedure to reactivate this bug, open a new one, or just make the same note in the bug (185976) that was filed to submit an ebuild for 0.22.5?
Comment 4 David Lang 2007-10-06 04:20:36 UTC
I've been running it for a while, the biggest headache was convincing the system to install it and the dependancies.

0.22.5 keyworded
