Description Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-29 07:47:04 UTC
James has been active on bugzilla for a number of years now. I also happen to proxy maintain quite a few packages on his behalf. I think it's high time I got out of his way. If he's willing to accept, then I'd like to start off the new developer process for him.

I hadn't realised you were going to file this the day I returned from holiday, but yeah I'd be happy to make an attempt at becoming a developer.

Hi James, Seemant!

I'll be looking forward to marking your quizzes whenever ready :)

Any reason this bug is restricted?

Nope, restrictions removed.

postponing by a week, as he will be afk and out of network range till then
Comment 6 Christian Heim (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-10 09:08:58 UTC
I'm gonna take care of him (Seemant just asked me about him, and forwarded the quizzes to me).
Comment 7 James Rowe 2006-10-28 04:25:27 UTC
I have no option but to withdraw myself from the new developer process at
this point. I've been given the opportunity to work on another project, and
after nearly seven weeks of putting off the decision I've been forced in to
one yesterday. As much as I would have preferred to work on Gentoo, even if my
application was successful in the coming weeks/months I would no longer be
able to dedicate any significant amount of time to Gentoo.

I'd like to say thanks to the people who have been involved in this bug,
and I hope you believe me when I say that I'm truly sorry for any time you
feel you have wasted working on this.
