Description Peter Hyman 2006-07-29 04:52:39 UTC
New versions of pan are much more stable. Unfortunately, their naming conventions make current betas < current stable! 0.14.92 > 0.105. This ebuid kludges the naming and makes it more proper for whenever 1.0 comes out. In any event, these versions are much more usable despite my earlier email about 0.94.

To bug maintainer, this package is NOT part of net-news. It is part of net-nntp. Please change assigned to. I added maintainer to CC:

Hi,

net-news is maintaining packages in net-nntp, it's a leftover from history. 0.105 looks good for me, very usable compared to the early betas. I just bumped the ebuild and I'm going to unmask this new version. Portage treats every version component separately, meaning for portage 0.105 is newer than 0.14.2, so we don't need to rename.
