Hi, I am submitting ebuild for pcsc-perl which is needed by pcsc-tools. It works for me :o) - yes, I know that there is g-cpan, but two reasons: 1) there is written in policy that an ebuild should be created if the package is a dependency 2) the CPAN version of this is badly obsolete

new version 1.4.4 available - just rename the ebuild
Works. 1.4.4 is latest.
This also works for version 1.4.7. Also, please add to KEYWORDS at least "~amd64".
(In reply to comment #5) > This also works for version 1.4.7. > Also, please add to KEYWORDS at least "~amd64". I do not own that reader anymore, so I cannot test ... feel free to do your own modifications to the ebuild, I'll mark the original obsolete then
Created attachment 162433 [details] New ebuild Added a ~amd64 keyword, and un-stabilized ~x86 as is traditional.
(this is an automated message based on filtering criteria that matched this bug) 'EBUILD' is in the KEYWORDS which should mean that there is a ebuild attached to this bug. This bug is assigned to maintainer-wanted which means that it is not in the main tree. Heuristics show that no Gentoo developer has commented on your ebuild. Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Because this is a mass message, we are also asking you to be patient with us. We anticipate a large number of requests in a short time. Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Jeremy. I've submitted an ebuild for version 1.4.7 into Sunrise; it's pending a developer's review. Once reviewed, it'll be available from http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/sunrise/browser/reviewed/sys-libs/pcsc-perl
Version 1.4.7 is now in Sunrise.
It's in ::gentoo since | *pcsc-perl-1.4.7 (11 Jan 2009) Please drop ~mips from keywords of the ebuild in the tree: | 30 Jun 2007; Joshua Kinard <kumba@gentoo.org> pcsc-lite-1.2.0.ebuild: | Removed mips keyword, as we don't use smartcards.
I did a quick diff against the version in sunrise and the version in main tree and because of that, i have two comments: -Did you really test it on all those arches, where you marked it testing? -Why do you inherit eutils eclass?
(In reply to comment #11) > Please drop ~mips from keywords of the ebuild in the tree: Dropped ~mips.
Not sure why this is still open...
