requesting useflag for building seamonkey w/o included help browser
Uhm, why?
Make it smaller. Kick off unneeded stuff.
I really don't see how is help unneeded...
Well, in all these years, I never ever used it, and so I'd like to switch it off. Others, who might want to use it, can still leave it enabled.
There doesn't seem to be any simple facility to turn off the help browser, it's quite integrated. I don't think this is practical.
Can anyone tell me how to look for it in the code, so I can kick it off by myself ?

(In reply to comment #6) > Can anyone tell me how to look for it in the code, so I can kick it off by > myself ? > The help seems to be stored in /usr/lib/seamonkey/chrome/en-US.jar, which contains the locales. If you really must remove the help, you will want to unjar it, remove the help only, jar it back up and hope seamonkey doesn't notice you. I'd say there's a good chance seamonkey will catch you though and promptly implode.
WONTFIX'ing as we want to stay close to upstream.
See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364232 It's alredy possible (by adapting the ebuild). Please assign the bug to me, if you like me to supply a patch :) (will take some days, since building mozilla stuff takes really, really long time :()
<+Anarchy> someone close bug #142020 as wontfix please thanks Mozilla team already said wontfix -> their word is law
