Could you please attach config.log?

config.log

Is the link to config.log not sufficient? But of course i can attach it ...
Comment 3 Daniel Gryniewicz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-02 20:34:59 UTC
Sorry, I completely missed the link.

It's related to firefox. I have it built against 1.5.0.4, and am currently re-building it against 1.5.0.5. What version of firefox do you have installed?
Comment 4 Christian H. Kuhn 2006-08-03 08:32:41 UTC
That might be a hint. I use 1.5.0.5, but mozilla-firefox-bin, because of the well-known problems with flash on AMD64-Linux. So it seems i should have a mozilla-firefox installed additionally? Is that possible without removing firefox-bin?
Comment 5 Daniel Gryniewicz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-03 19:33:47 UTC
Sure, I have them both, but if you are emerging epiphany with the firefox USE flag, then it already pulled in firefox as a dep.

FWIW, I rebuild epi against firefox 1.5.0.5, and it built fine for me. Maybe a sync+rebuild of firefox would fix your problem? It might be broken, and you not know it, because you use firefox-bin.
Comment 6 Christian H. Kuhn 2006-08-18 14:17:38 UTC
I tried it, and i now have mozilla-firefox 1.5.0.6 installed, and epiphany still fails. Now i tried it with USE="-firefox", and it worked, so it seems to be related to mozilla-firefox, but i can't say why.
Comment 7 Balint Dobai-Pataky 2006-10-20 11:14:25 UTC
same here on a clean install,
with www-client/mozilla-firefox-1.5.0.7
Comment 8 Luis Medinas (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-16 14:41:05 UTC
epiphany 2.16 is stable... it still happens the same ? Reopen if you have some news.
