Description Wolfram Schlich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-26 11:07:18 UTC
pkg_config():

 * if you experience a warning with winscp regarding groups, please install
 * the provided hacked out fake groups program into your chroot, like so:
 * cp groups /home/scponly/bin/groups

...but the package does not contain that groups binary :(

Debian includes it as groups.c in /usr/share/doc/packages, but that's not the best way IMHO.

Why don't we compile and install it as /usr/bin/scponly.groups or similar?
Comment 1 Marco Mueller 2006-09-06 06:40:22 UTC
config.h in /usr/share/doc/scponly-<$version>/ is missing. Needed to Create chrooted accounts.
Comment 2 MATSUU Takuto (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-14 09:51:23 UTC
We does not need groups.c because gentoo's /bin/groups(sys-apps/shadow) is not shell script.(see ${S}/INSTALL)

removed the messages from pkg_config. thanks.

Marco:
Please `emerge --cofig =net-misc/scponly-(version)` instead setup_chroot.sh.
