Hi everyone,

one the board-administrators said, i should post my error here
as a bug-report, here i am:

Emerging sane-backends ends with the following message:

Didn't notice this problem since it only happens when the directory doesn't already exist. Investigating.

A fix should hit your portage mirror soon, please try again when you have  
# $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/media-gfx/sane-backends/sane-backends-1.0.18.ebuild,v 1.2 2006/07/26 12:51:45 phosphan Exp $

in the file header. Please re-open if there are still problems.
