Description Kalidarn 2006-07-25 11:24:08 UTC
Basically I cannot enter any data into a .class java field or visit my preferences in version dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.2 or for that matter the binary eclipse-SDK-3.2-linux-gtk.tar.gz from eclipses website.

Preferences menu works in dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.0.1-r3 and dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.1.2-r3 but I cannot enter any text into a .class

Because this affects both Gentoo's Distribution of it and the official upstream binary.

I have marked this bug as invalid as I found the source of the problem.

I have resolved this issue.

Seems when I emerged media-fonts/font-xfree86-type1 and virtual/xft it fixed
the problem. I had to add media-fonts/font-xfree86-type1 to my package.keywords
as it was still in testing.

Not sure why when merging x11-base/xorg-x11 these weren't merged, I was using
Xorg 7.1 and after reading this:
http://forums.gentoo.org//viewtopic-t-479152-highlight-eclipsesdk.html?sid=8e5c8f395a1b94402754cf34b6127ae8
I decided to go back to Xorg 7.0

When I restarted X monospace was screwed, I couldn't display it in my console
without it going to an itallic font like that Bitstream Vera one.
