Should be fixed in newer versions, see the other bug. Reopen if not. :)

nope still no worky i upgraded to amsn-0.95-r3 and got :
Application initialization failed: this isn't a Tk applicationunknown color name "Black"
Error in startup script: this isn't a Tk applicationunknown color name "Black"
    (default value for "-highlightcolor" in widget ".")
    invoked from within
"load /usr/lib/tk8.4/../libtk8.4.so Tk"
    ("package ifneeded" script)
    invoked from within
"package require Tk"
    (file "/usr/bin/amsn" line 46)

You need to upgrade tk as well...

okay this will be the last post for me if u cant fix this last error im just gonna give up, Its not worth the fight lol

and yes i have tcl 8.4.13.just incase u asked :)

I'm not fighting w/ anyone, I'm asking you to try w/ newer tk, as it just works for other people.

Please, file a new bug about this, once it's solved, return here, upgrade tk, and try again. :)

no no lol i was saying the fight of me getting it to work lol. You were being very helpful.hehe. and i tried upgrading tk but it gets a error. which i posted in the last post. 
i guess ill start another post under the package tk-8.4.13 then. .

Yes, the failed patch is unrelated to this one.
