Description Benoît Giraudou 2006-07-25 06:26:53 UTC
DVD95 is an gnome application to convert DVD9 to DVD5 (http://dvd95.sourceforge.net/). Here's an ebuild for the latest version (1.1p0).
Could you please include this software in the portage tree ?

we can take this yes...

if the license is GPL 2 why it doesn't have a source tarball ? Why we need to use the rpm's ?

Another thing your RDEPEND and DEPENDS are wrong you can keep both packages in DEPEND and remove RDEPEND.

They added a tar.gz on October 16. Let's see if we can get a working ebuild...

After fiddling around with the language (I never saw an application which is default in French but provides English mo-files), I added a quite proper ebuild into portage. It's now the third application in portage which can do dvd9 to dvd5 conversion (the others are app-cdr/k9copy and media-video/dvd9to5).

The application is still, well, beta, but it seems to be usable.
