Resin 2.1.17 is available and some of us are still stuck on 2.1.x. Care to bump the version? Changelog at http://caucho.com/resin-3.0/features/changes-2.xtp. We've run a locally bumped version of 2.1.16 on a large site for 12 months no with no adverse effects, only change up to 2.1.17 is a malloc issue in mod_caucho. -A :)
Sorry, but no. There won't be any updates to resin-2* in portage. Caucho hasn't released new version since december 2005 and recommends moving to resin 3. Last thing: there's no mod_caucho for resin 2 in portage.
Some of us are still runnign products that vendors claim only are supported on 2.1.x and are pushing for 3.0 support, but untill then, it would be nice for 2.1.17 to appear, and it only contains a fe wimportant, but simple fixes, so it should be a pure version bump. As for mod_caucho/resin, we have an ebuildfor it, and would like to submit it, version is 2.1.16/17. -A
I'll bump binary version to 2.1.17
2.1.17 in portage. After 3.0.19 goes stable all versions <3.0.19 will be first package.mask'ed and then removed.
