Description Niels van Aert 2006-07-23 14:47:57 UTC
Hi all,

Today I emerged wine-9999 and noted that HAL support is not working properly. (I don't actually think it ever did as I never had wine assigning drives automatically) Whenever I compile wine and run WINEDEBUG="+explorer" wine explorer desktop=foo,640x480 it tells me that hal is not enabled. That while the hal USE flag is enabled (though wine does not use it) in the configuration file and wine does find hal.

Note: Gnome does automatically mount my CD's however wine does NOT automatically assign a drive letter to it while it should as soon as wine is run.

I am running kernel: gentoo-sources-2.6.17-r2, Gnome-2.14.2, Xorg-7.0 and ati-drivers-8.26.x
