net-p2p/bittorrent needs dev-python/twisted to run properly or it will fail to start with an error of a missing plugin named "twisted.python"

bittorrent-4.4.0 is now the stable bittorrent package. Does it also require twisted? It seemed to run fine without twisted or twisted-web for me. 4.26 (testing) does need twisted and twisted-web though. Please confirm this.
